Our products

Air fin coolers

A device in which a fluid is cooled by ambient air; the fluid is separated from the air by finned tubes.

Double pipe exchangers

In its simplest form, the double pipe heat exchanger, (also known as a concentric pipe, hairpin, jacked pipe and jacketed U-tube heat exchangers), consists of a single tube mounted inside another.

Shell & Tube exchangers

A device in which energy (heat) is transferred from a hot fluid to a colder fluid. The fluids are separated by a wall, and cannot mix.

Tank Heaters

Heat Exchanger Service builds tank heaters for many different applications. We offer either the bundle by itself, or we offer the entire tank heater assembly which includes: the bundle, cast or fabrication head, and sleeve which the bundle slides into.

Pressure Vessels

This is a container for process fluid. Heat Exchanger Service knows pressure vessels and knows how to make them – from relatively small ones to really large ones.

Tank lifting for maintenance

When it comes to tank repairs there is no safer, more effective method than what we at J de Jonge TankX practice. With this process, local settlements can be corrected, and older tanks’ edge settlement can be redetermined ‘as built’. In addition, our solution provides the important opportunity to (re)install a new concrete barrier ring beam or crushed stone ring wall while the tank is temporarily supported during the maintenance process.

Another unique advantage of the lifting process is the opportunity to repair or even replace a tank bottom in its entirety. With storage tanks jacked up to 8ft / 2,4m above the foundation as well as linear instalment, we are able to create the ideal workspace to replace corroded tank bottoms. The roof legs can be relevelled or replaced, as there are no obstacles during the installation of new bottom plates. This lift height also defines the workspace as a non-confined space, allowing all the benefits associated with that. While tank maintenance can be expensive, there is no industry replacement for proper lifting methods or quality repairs which we ensure will mitigate loss of time. We believe this long-term solution speaks for itself, as it is proven to save money and shorten the time that tanks are out of service.

In addition to all this, we employ a longevity process which includes blasting and coating a new or existing tank bottom while it is lifted above the foundation. While optional, this process will significantly extend the life of the tank bottom, as it ceases external corrosion.

mechanical maintenance

J. de Jonge specializes in the manufacturing of mechanical constructions and the construction of piping systems. We complete our assignments within the agreed delivery time and with the quality required. Naturally, in doing so, the requirements for safety, health and environment come first.

Ever since its establishment in 1954, the workshop takes a central place within the various divisions ofJ. de Jonge. Our expertise lies in making mechanical constructions and installations, (piggable) piping systems and all sorts of filters. The welding is obviously of high quality and in accordance with the EN287-1 HL045 standards.

One of the distinguishing features of our workshop is the ability to respond quickly to urgent (stop) work. Obviously, the delivery of quality and meeting the specific requirements of our clients always have our priority.

Equipment

  • Microstep CNC Plasma cutting machine for pipe / plate /vessel head > CNC
  • Bandsawing machine 350 x 400 mm
  • Spotwelding machine 50 kVa
  • Bending machine pipe / profile
  • Bending machine plate 2500 x 15 mm > Pipe bending machine 2 inch
  • Pressbrakes 2500 mm – maximum width 10 mm Welding Process / Methods
  • Metal Inactive Gas (M.I.G.) > Metal Active Gas (M.A.G.)
  • Gas Tungsten Arc (G.T.A.W.)

Piping prefabrication

In our factory we have various possibilities for the prefabrication of piping systems, skids, manifolds and other constructions in accordance with the current PED standards and guidelines regarding pressure equipment. Because of this, we work more efficiently on-site and you have less downtime.

Contact

Our team consists of managers and several employees in the workplace, of course. We are available day and night.
